It’s turning into a record year for Abseil Access with yet another bridge complete. AA managed all the design, consents and the build and completion of the Upukerora cycle/ walkway bridge in Fiordland. The 36-metre-long suspension bridge, which is part of the Te Anau Cycle Trail was completed in less than six months.
The Fiordland Trails Trust love it and the client, Waka Kotahi, the New Zealand Transport Agency are particularly pleased with Abseil Access’ work.
“It was a pleasure working with the Abseil Access bridge team,” says Waka Kotahi Network Manager Project Co-ordinator, John O’Neill. “They looked after every aspect of the design, engineering, consenting and build and our bridge was completed and signed off within budget and on time. I would recommend them to anyone.”
