Following one of the biggest storm events in Fiordlands history, several bridges were washed out and iconic tracks like the Milford were closed.
Abseil Access were engaged by Department of Conservation to rebuild bridges on the Routeburn, Milford (4) and Marian walkway.
The work started in winter and the weather got worse. But the team were brave and persevered. This project had all the dramas of helicopters, rain, sandflies, explosives and more rain.
